So, I'm being stalked.

--I'm at school btw, this is mousely drawn.

This guy targeted me (and only me) on a Muslim stamp I commented on.

He's trying to get me to "think" and "drop out of Islam" by ponting me to fabricated and false
information.

(I also found out he does the same to Christians, Jewish, etc... e_e our ahlu-kitab)

Because apparently Islam is sexist because of some isolated incidents and laws in some Middle Eastern countries of which the leaders themselves admit those laws are secular for their country's circumstance.

And anytime I refuted his argument with logic (I patiently replied at first thinking he was one of those nice but misinformed people), he kept replying with links to Islamic "crimes"... even tho a lot of the videos SAID "Islam doesn't condone this".

xD then he started attacking my friends list in my journal. He watched me, started nothing me, noting Yumi, Lina, emailing us, trying to add us on MSN.

We blocked him... but this morning I saw he made a new email just to email me again.

He calls me a bigot and a terrorist, even though I told him to leave me be... apparently just like you must tell nazis their beliefs are wrong, you must tell Muslim girls their beliefs are wrong and they are oppressed.

Irony? He specifically targeted me because I explicitly stated in my comment to the wonderful (no sarcasm, this guy was not the Islamic stamp maker) stamp that I'm a Muslim GIRL.

Lawl, these people make me laugh.

He actually asked me what it would take to get me to leave Islam, because faith is evil and he won't leave me alone until I leave it.

I'm a bit frustrated atm... I wish you could ban IPs from email. I needed to draw this.

Well I think the only choice you have to get away from him is to change your email. How did he get your email in the first place? It's sad that he is putting this much effort into something so ridiculous. People have their own opinions and forcing it on someone is just very... TROLLIFIC.

I can see it. I don't think the background works exactly, it sort of hurts my eyes. D: I think without it this picture would be alot better. I love her nose and mouth especially, and the shading on the skin. It's too bad it got cut off, I'm sure that problem will be solved once we get our new server. (TOMMOROW MORNING)

To find the textures in shipainter just click ''Color'' Which is under eraser. Click and hold and a little drop down window should come up, move to ''TEXTURE'' (but all you can really see is ''TEXT'') and another window will come up with all the different textures.

This is pretty. She strikes me as a ballet dancer, or a dancer of some kind. I wouldn't say it's realism, but I guess it depends on what you consider to be realism.

My friend challenged me to draw a realistic Misa THEN I found out that this month's theme is realism. Lawl, irony.

This really sucks, but I guess it got better as I went along. Hm, it's still a WIP and I'm not sure if I'll ever finish it, so yeah. I tried. o_o

Anyway, critique please, though I already know there's a shitload of things wrong with this. o__o

That girl is really pretty, but I have some helpful tips for you when using a photo reference. When using a reference always use little measuring tricks. For instance in that photo I can see that the edges of her mouth go past her nostrils, in yours the edges of the mouth stop before the nostrils. That is one way to measure without literally measuring. The second thing I notice is that her eyes are too big vertically and not long enough horizontally. Once again that measuring trick comes in handy, you notice the line type thing that sort of outlines her nose? There is a small gap in between that ''line'' and her eyes that you forgot to include in this picture. Also, her eyebrows are much too thin and they lack a lot of shape. They don't seem very realistic, especially compared to the photo. Though, realism is pretty hard, but eventually it comes with practice. I hope you do finish this, because realism is a good break from drawing regularily. It's... healthy almost.

Since you aren't that good at realism yet (neither am I xD), it'd probably be better for you to stick to drawing the picture like the reference (with the exception of the changes you need to make it make it look misa like)... because.. this doesn't really look like your reference (at least.. the face looks nothing like it.)

I just watched the animation, I think I know what your trouble with the layers was. You used white to erase from the top layer instead of the eraser, and since you used a colour it stayed on top of the background... is that right?
